I don't know how I feel about the paint drips present in this picture and the squid one. On one hand they seem spindly and out of place given the solid paint strokes. Given the cute, soothing nature of the picture, they feel like cracks in a perfect world.
On the other hand, they make the picture much more interesting as well as make it feel more truthful. It's rather like saying that something can be peaceful and cute without having a perfect unmarred surface.
Perhaps the above is a bit much for a single painting. Either way, I really like your paintings; you should do them more often. Perhaps I'm biased, but the use the colors, the strokes, and the transient suggestions of texture are all incredibly appealing to me. The contrast between the text and the picture are interestingly suggestive as well.
